There is a policy on learning and development plus career development and promotions. These are accessible and available in alternative formats. On-line training is accessible and a totally accessible learning centre is provided. All employees have equal opportunities to avail of learning and development.
Performance reviews (maximising performance) are held twice yearly and individual plans are developed to support employees with disabilities to achieve their goals. The review procedure gives objective, interactive and meaningful feedback on performance taking into account reasonable accommodation. Access is available to external training programmes at universities and both finance and time are covered by the organisation. There are trained mentors on site and employees with disabilities work at all different levels within the organisation. Diversity and disability awareness training has been carried out.
