About the Awards

What are the O2 Ability Awards?
The O2 Ability Awards are the first Irish business awards for best practice in the employment and inclusion of people with disabilities. The O2 Ability Awards were created and designed by The Aisling Foundation, in association with strategic partners Access Ability, who manage the assessment process.
Examining all aspects of employment, the Awards recognise progressive attitudes, in those organisations that see disability and diversity as a corporate asset and key to success.
The Awards celebrate organisations and their business leaders that are successfully working with people with disabilities, rewarding professional excellence in this particular area of people-management. The Awards provide an environment for learning and continuous improvement.
The O2 Ability Awards involves a 7-stage process leading to awards for best practice in the following categories:
- Leadership (in association with IBEC)
- Environmental Accessibility (in association with Access Ability)
- Customer Service (in association with FÁS)
- Recruitment & Selection (in association with IrishJobs.ie)
- Learning, Development & Progression (in association with CIPD in Ireland)
- Retention & Well Being (in association with Dublin Chamber of Commerce)
